My cat cries everytime we pet her across her back above her tail. She will twist her head around and meow and lick at the same time...
Am I hurting her or is something else going on?

My cat and others have done that too and we don't see anything wrong with exam.
dogs do it to but start using their back leg to scratch. I would rule anything out with a visit to your Vet to ease your mind.
