loss of teeth

She seems to be loosing her from teeth ,they are very short and not growing is this a sign of age, is it common, she is still eating and pooping,my 13 year old daughter lvoes her very much takes good care of her and is very concerned

    Are her teeth falling out, or simply short?

    If they are short, that means with her diet she is keeping them that way. This is much better than the teeth being too long. Gerbils use their front teeth to nibble but far more important are her vack teeth, so don't be too concerned.

    If Angel appears in pain at all or stops eating, you should ask your vet to examine her.

    Sorry - typo. That should read back teeth and not vack teeth!

    Thank You Matthew her teeth are barely there very short but there, they were longer, maybe she has been on a chewing binge ? she is three years old and still very active .. we were concernd that it was age and something was wrong KAren
