Freddy the pygmy goat :)

  • Freddy

hello, i have a male pygmy goat who is around 1years old if i got him castrated would that stop him smelling ? and he is also showing signs of bordem when i am not with him do you know of any bordem breakers i could make or buy him ? thank you

    Hi,

Castration is unlikely to completely rid Freddy of his smell, but should help to a degree.

What sort of environment does he live in. It is difficult to comment on his behaviour without knowing his surroundings. I would recommend a book on pygmy goat keeping or small holdings which may suggest ways to optimise Freddy's environment.

    Regards

    Matthew
