My dog has epilepsy and is on epiphen tablets,we also have a rectal diazepam for emergencies.
My question is if the worst happened and the seizure was not stopping after 5-10 min and we needed to use the diazepam how quickly does it take effect ,how long is it effective for and is it guaranteed to take affect when used.We have been told that if the diazepam is used we are to administer it and head straight to the vets
