My lab likes to scratch and dig until bleeding, loves pressure on his ear, but he is always shaking his head, and blood will fly out. He is starting to ususaly smell like infection.. real bad odor.. any help?

Yes -it does sound like he has an infection or even a grass seed down there. Be careful with the head shaking - floppy eared dogs are prone to aural haematomas (Blood blister in the ears) through head shaking. If there is an ear infection then your dog will need medication for that containing antibiotics. This is only available with a prescription so you would need to take him to the vets.
What you can do at home is give the ears a good clean to remove any wax and debris. This is vital in curing the current infection and preventing it recurring. Dog ear cleaning solutions can be purchased cheaply online at websites such as this one. Click here
