lady my chocolate female adult dog

my 6yr chocolate lab has had no pupies is in heat now for about two months she is losing wieght but still eats fine her bleeding is heavy and changes between red and brown.
my biggest worry is her wieght loss. i have two other dogs and four cats that are not sick. what is it ?

    you need to get her to a vets to check that she does not have an infection

    You better go to the vet asap. Un-spayed females can get "pyometra", which is an infected uterus. Surgery is needed immediately to remove the uterus and antibiotic treatment. If left untreated or unnoticed, your dog could die. Get medical help asap.
