my bearded dragon got his claw caught in the screen on the top of his cage, and pulled out the nail. now that arm is darker and bigger than the others. it doesnt seem to affect him though.

Hi there,
I would keep an eye on the leg, it would be quite easy for an infection to start in his leg due to the toe being caught and pulled out.
Ideally bathing the area with salt water or weak iodine solution may help.
Reptiles aren't very good at showing pain, so although he may not show any sypmtoms, it could still be causing a problem, and any swelling will indicate this too. i would be inclinded to take him to the vets as he may need a course of antibiotics. When reptiles do start showing external symptoms like not eating or drinking this usually means that they are actually very ill at this point.
Hope you get him sorted soon.
