My cat has barfed twice recently (not furball) and has come inside limping. This morning I checked and she was still limping. Why is this happening and are the barfing and limping related?

Hello,
Is the substance your cat is vomiting sick, or undigested food? Cats can be sick for numerous reasons, if the two incidents were over a period of a week, i wouldn't worry, just monitor her and make sure she is not bolting down her food and/or the portions are too big.
One of the symptoms you have put is limping and weight gain. Do you know how heavy your cat is. If she is overweight, she may have pulled a muscle trying jump onto something and is feeling a bit sore.
My advise is to take her to the vets for a weight check and if the limp is on going, get the vet to have a feel and she might just need an anti-inflammatory to help her get over it. That said if she is overweight, she needs to shed some pounds, not only is it making her inefficient, it can expose her to diabetes, which is becoming too common a case.
The limping may be caused by a cat bite or a broken claw, If she will let you have a look. If not it is always best to get the vet to check.
Good luck
