I just noticed a bump on my dogs leg. It looks like a very large mole ( but more blood filled). I have never seen it there before. What could it be?

Hi there. A skin lump can be either a tumour (benign or malignant), cyst or abscess. If it is non painful, then it is probably not an abscess. Either you can have her examined by your vet immediately, or you can keep an eye on the lump and if it starts to get bigger or firmer, or if it bursts, then have her examined then. If she is an older dog, I would advice having the lump examined sooner rather than later as the likelihood of a tumour increases with age. The vet can take a biopsy with a needle and this may give you an answer. Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions.
