diarrhea

midge has had severe diarrhea during the last 2 nights this is after I wormed her on
Friday with Drontel any connections do you think

    Did your dog have parasites or were you using the drontal as a precaution? I have seen before that when a dog has parasites and we give them a treatment they can get diarrhea as the parasites are seeming to die. I have just checked on the side effects listed for the drontal and in clinical field studies non were seen. however when large doses were given soft stool or vomiting occurred in some dogs. If the symptoms persist despite a bland diet ( eg chicken and rice) for a few days I would make sure she gets checked by your vet.
