behavior

Yesterday my dog was at daycare - he goes around once a week to every other week and he knows the people there well, they know him. They said that after being there for about four hours with the same caregiver, that he started running in circles, barking, tail between his legs, peeing on himself - and acted like he didn't know the person or where he was. They said he seemed "lost". They were able to calm him and returned him to play, but he did the same thing again. They kept him separated from the other dogs the remainder of the day but he continued to have episodes of not knowing who the people were and acting "scared". THis morning he continues to be lethargic. What could be happening with him?

    Hello!

It sounds like something may have scrared him or made him anxious and nervous for some reason. It does sound behavioural - however, you can't rule out that there is something physically upsetting him.

I would let him relax for a day or so and just monitor eating, drinking, toileting etc and observe any other unsual behaviour.

IF it is behaioural and soething has un nerved him then a natural pheramone produt may help put him at ease such as the DAP
