My cat is urinating in the sink. What can I do to Stop Her?

    This can be a sign of both physical and behavioural problems so it does warrant a visit to your vet to check for urinary tract disorders.

    In the meantime at home you need to make sure that her litter box is perfectly clean. It needs to be spotless for any kitty with innapropriate urination, so scooping at least twice daily and a full litter change about once a week is in order. Also offer at least one box per cat ( if you have more than one cat, try a different type of litter in one box to see if she has a preference).

     To stop her going in the sink you can cover it with aluminum foil ( cats generally don't like the feel and sound of this). You can also add something called cat attract to the litter ( it is a  mixture of herbs designed to attract them back to the litter) which may be available cheaper online.
