my dog has a split toenail in half that runs up to her pad? is there anything i can do.

Hi there, sorry for any delay in answering.
Is it painful at all? Is she lame? If not then I would just leave it alone and it will sort itself out. If it seems to be bothering her the best thing to do is to cut the loose part of the claw off. This may cause a bleed, so if you are worried then it may be worth having it done at the vets.
