Pug - Eating Issue

Rating: 10

I have a four month old, male pug. He gets fed dry dog food twice a day. Recently, he has been eating his food so quickly that he's not even chewing it. After eating, he sometimes throws up and the dog food is still whole. Can you help me find out why he's doing this and also how we can prevent it? Thank you.

Symptoms: Vomiting

    Hello!

Believe it or not - there are some specially formulated 'pug's dry foods out there soo that the biscuit (kibble) is a specially designed shape for therer mouth.

Easier still - tru feeling little and often or use a big bowl and spread it round or several small bowls so your dog has to move a little to stop bolting the food down so quickly. Some people find raising the bowl from the ground a little also helps.
