My cat doesn't seem to be drinking water and is not urinating much at all. What could be causing this?

Hi there. Is your cat trying to urinate at all? IE straining, climbing in and out of the litter tray etc.? If this is the case, he needs veterinary attention asap. Male cats commonly get bladder blockages which will turn into an emergency, life-threatening situation.  If he seems to be passing urine normally but seems to be urinating less frequently, it could be because of a decrease in water intake. If his appetite for food is normal and expecially if he is fed wet food, I wouldn't worry too much about this but if he is showing other signs- eg reduced appetite, discomfort, lethargy, straining to urinate, then I think he should see a vet soon.
