i gave my dog max a jumbon, one of those rawhide treats, and noticed that he was bleeding badly, so i took it away... now his bottom right jaw is swollen and there is a large bump inside his mouth... there is also a pretty nasty odor that i didn't notice before... i'm just wondering if this could be a broken off tooth, or could his jaw be broken?

a broken jaw is unlikely, sounds like he may have a broken tooth or a tooth root abscess, offer plenty of water and give soft food while you contact your veterinary centre as the tooth may need to be removed or treatment if it is an abscess. hope this helps
