i HAVE AN 11 1/2 YEAR OLD BEAGLE WHO IS GETTING INTO THE GARBAGE, CHEWING UP STUFF AND / OR GOING TO THE BATHROOM IN THE HOUSE ALMOST DAILY. THERE HAVEN'T BEEN ANY CHANGES IN HER LIFE AND SHE GETS FED EVERY DAY. IS THIS USUAL FOR A NORMALLY WELL BEHAVED DOG TO BE ACTING OUT LIKE THIS?

this is quite common for beagles to scavenge, move garbage cans to another area if possible and try to make dog proof. ensure she has plenty of toys and company to keep her distracted. kongs are great for keeping them busy as you can stuff them with biscuits and can keep them busy for ages. she may be trashing the bins out of boredom rather than hunger. when she gets into the garbage try to ignore her and clean it up when shes not looking so you don't give her any attention as she may be doing this for attention too.
