There are many causes for drooling but nausea is one of the most common causes that I see. Has your dog been eating anything he/she shouldn't like garbage? Other things could be a foreign body stuck in his/her mouth or esophagus which prevents the saliva from being swallowed. Has he/she been pawing at his/her mouth? Are you able to look safely in your dogs mouth? Mouth pain is also another possible cause. I would suggest that your dog would benefit from being seen by your vet as they can dehydrate if they are drooling in excessive amounts. Good luck
