fish hook

My dog has part of a fish hook in its jowel...what shoukld i do? will it work its self out?get infected?

    Hi

    If the fish hook is barbed then it will need to be removed at your local veterinary clinic, possibly just with a little local anesthetic injected at the site, however if your dog gets stressed with that sort of thing it might need mild sedation.
