our yorkie has had an issue with seizures for the last 4 months..he is on vet prescribed medication that he takes 2x daily. Over the last week he has become very lathargic and beginning today he has points on his body that are extreamly sensitive(particularly around his neck)...he wimpers when he is pet in these places. Should we be concerned? Is it due to the meds or the seizures?

Has he had recent bloodwork? seizure medications can affect the organs (usually over a longer term)

I would at least do a CBC to ensure he doesn't have an active infection.

What about testing for tick borne diseases? or radiographs to check for disc problems if the only pain is along the neck and spine region.
