I have a 2 year old yorkshire terrier. Just recently (tuesday) we put down our old dog. She is VERY depressed. She won't guard the house and she will barely play with toys. We Wanted to get a new dog to help but i dont know how she will react. She is Territorial so we are taking her to obedience. We wanted a norwich terrier. Should we get the norwich or no dog??

she is young so should adapt to a new friend and similar size and temperament should be good together, just remember to keep millie as top dog and share the affection so she doesn't get jelous. is there a blanket or toy that your old dog liked that you can give to millie so she doesn't feel alone. d.a.p diffuser may help, this releases natural pheromones which make them feel relaxed. this might be a good idea to have if you introduce a new dog. good luck
