Sleeping and resting all day

My 1 year old cat has been sick for 4 days now, sleeping and resting all day.
He did not eat for the 1st day and his eyes were weak.
The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th day he eats and drinks, and has been using the litter, but small amounts.His eyes are better. He is getting slightly better each day. He does go outside when well and may have eaten something, been bitten(no marks)???
I feel he is getting slightly more energetic each day.
I think he still has a low fever and is fighting something slowly.

    yes he seems to have got a virus which he is fighting through, offer plenty of water and continue with food and encourage him to eat if he doesn't want too. monitor his behaviouor and if he becomes very lethargic again he may require antibiotics. it seems you are doing a fine job looking after him so continue with lots of tender loving care.
