If Spookie were a dog this would be easier to explain but cats do not normally urinate on their owners unless she was marking you for some reason or she has a medical problem (check her out at your vets).  Marking is carried out for all sorts of reasons (insecurity being one of them) and you will need a good qualified behaviourist to sort this out for you (ask your vet for a number). Or it may be because she is becoming so relaxed her bladder leaks a bit. Does she urinate after she has settled and is relaxing? If this happens again do not tell her off, just calmly pop her outside. Perhaps do not stroke her as much and instead of having her on your laps she could sit next to you instead on a towel.

I would certainly have her bladder checked.

    Hope this helps a bit

Good Dog? Bad Dog? By Rosie Barclay. This book concentrates on changing the traditional views of how we perceive and treat our dogs using what we have learned from scientific research so far. It starts at the beginning by looking at ways of how to chose and bring up a new puppy that may reduce the likelihood of future problems. It then goes on to cover different problems that commonly occur between owners and their maturing or adult dogs by discussing real case studies. TO BUY VISIT www.rosiebarclay.com
