Lab with discomfort His name is Max

I have a 5 year old large Lab. He has become disabled within the last 2 days. His bowels have move and has urinated, no diarrhea. He has no energy and crys alot. He has not eaten but has had some water.

    There are many things that could be going on with your dog but I think he needs to see a vet.  A vet will be able to give him a complete examination and run any tests that are necessary.  You could try temping him to eat with small, warm meals of things like chicken, white fish or tuna, offer him small bowls of water regularly, clean his face with damp cotton wool to make him feel a bit better and spend lots of time with him.  If you can put some extra padding in his bed if he is feeling sore it might help a little.  Good luck, Jo.

    I took him to the vet, per your advice. He tested positive for Lyme Disease. Thank you for your advice. Joanne House
